Kade Thomas founded Cerv in 2021 after a decade operating across commercial real estate, hospitality, and property services. The pattern he observed was structural: the category's economic model favored vendor fragmentation, and the buyer absorbed the cost.

Cerv was built to invert the math. In-house operators instead of subcontracted labor. A published standard instead of a sales promise. One accountable team instead of five disconnected ones.

Four years in, the model holds across fifteen markets and five service verticals — and the thesis has only gotten sharper as the company has scaled.
